Pouria’s work encompasses a range of styles and subjects, from underground fashion and street photography to vibrant concert photography and music documentaries in locations like Tbilisi, Samarkand, Bukhara, Toronto, and Vancouver. He has also created three official music videos for alternative artists and activists in Mashhad, Tehran, and Tbilisi.

Pouria’s journey in journalism began with the mentorship of Behzad Bolour, a senior producer at BBC Persian and world service. He has also served as a videographer in several episodes for BBC Persian TV, website, and social media platforms.

In addition to his freelance work, Pouria has also joined RadioFarda, the Iranian branch of the U.S. government-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) external broadcast service, providing “factual, objective, and professional journalism” to its audiences.

In the summer of 2022, Pouria served as the media manager for Sam Yari’s photoshoot about the “Raped Women of War” in Berlin and as the event planner and media manager for Sam’s photo gallery in Paris. He has also produced more than ten episodes of the popular “Bolour-e-Banafsh” TV program, which is streamed on BBC Persian. The show is hosted by senior journalist, director, producer, and host Behzad Bolour, who has interviewed various unique Persian artists, specialists, and business individuals.
